Re: Gift for teachers
I just made a mousepad and coordinating mug rug for a coworker: mousepad.JPGmug rug.JPGmug rug label.JPG
The Mug Rug label idea came from this blog: http://www.hilltopcustomdesigns.com/...-tags.html?m=1 I had my daughter do it in her Graphics program and then I printed it on fabric using: https://www.amazon.com/June-Tailor-C.../dp/B003W0ZC5S
The Mousepad was very easy. I recovered an existing mousepad with fabric. Used mod podge as glue. Trimmed fabric and then put fray check around edge to prevent fraying.

How about a Garden flag? She can use it in her class room if she wanted too. You can buy the poles seperatly.

Re: Gift for teachers
Personally I think mug rugs and/or coasters are wonderful gifts. Here are some other non-sewing ideas.
This first link was written by someone who was an elementary school teacher.
Three teachers are here to clue you into the teacher gifts that teachers truly want to receive! You might be surprised at how little some cost.

Mug rugs are a great idea. They can be used at school, at home and in any room.
