I see so many post of you all going to the retreats, but don't see any guys? I am really , really thinking of getting out there sometime this summer, and if not a retreat what else?

I don't know about the other retreats, but boB has attended the fall forum retreat before. We missed having him this past year but hopefully he can come this year. The one issue with a guy attending is they can't stay in the retreat center overnight as it is women only sleeping quarters (dormitory style) but they can get a room at a local hotel and pay a commuter fee, which covers all of their meals while at the retreat. I know a couple guys have attended retreats when Rob Appel (I probably spelled his last name wrong) has been the star attraction.
K is for Karen 😊 Albuquerque, NM.................. Cremation - My last hope for a smokin' hot body.
Before you speak, T - is it TRUE? H - is it HELPFUL? I - is it INSPIRING? N - is it NECESSARY? K - is it KIND?
I've been to several retreats. I stay in Cameron and drive the 12 miles back and forth. There is a new local Inn that has opened in Hamilton from what I understand. I don't know about cost or what the rooms are like.
The last retreat I attended was the 2016 New Years Eve Extravaganza, and there was another man there. He was from the KC area, if I remember correctly. Jenny's husband Ron has attended one retreat and brought his Featherweight and sewed with us. So some of the guys attend, it seems most don't post a lot about it.
But I encourage you to make a retreat and experience the fun in person.
I peeked at your album and saw your train set. That brought back memories. My mom was into that, but on scale N I think. She built a whole town with a circus! It was on a coffee table that my step dad put a plexi glass around it. Sadly I had to let it go when she passed, because I live in Hawaii. Very nice!
The dates won't be announced until spring. I'm sure it will be announced here once the dates are known. I come with my husband and stay in Cameron with him. It's an easy commute! And there are some new places closer to the Sewing Center. I'm sure more info will become available once we know the dates.

Pretty sure the dates were posted here by someone before Christmas. I just can't remember what they were!
A couple years ago we went to San Diego. Did you know they have a model railroad museum there? I was dragged there against my will, but it was kind of fun to see all the displays they had set up. They have a live camera feed set up so you can see the large one, but I can't remember the link now. If you go out that way, it's in Balboa Park.
