Here we call them self-threading needles. I think they're clever. Glad you finally found some!

I just ordered some of those needles from M* except they're called Sench Side Threading Needles.

I really like them for hand embroidery. I struggle to thread 3 strands of floss through the eye of the needle.

I bought some Singer cheater needles at Jo-Ann's that were no good---they snapped the thread while you were trying to slip it in...but I got some John James brand ones on Amazon and have been happy with those.

I love them. Use them all the time to bury thread ends. I bury most of the needle then use tweezers to pull short threads over the top of the needle and pull it down through to the eye. Then pull the needle the rest of the way and it burys it.

I love them too. Makes burying threads so much quicker & easier. They are hard to find, so everytime I'm at any local sewing shops I look. I'm down to my last one so I may have to just bite the bullet and order them soon.

    Cheater needle

    Hi

I went to a fabric store ( Not a quilt shop ) during lunch to day to get some supplies.
I wanted a thingy to help me thread the needle and some wadding.

I got what I wanted and then just as I was about to pay, the clerk put up some needles on the counter and said.
    We got these to .

My eyes were about to pop out there sockets!! There were Cheaters Needles!!

I have been searching for these ever since I heard Leah Day talk about them years ago!
But not been able to find them.

I am a happy quilter to day!

Working...
