    Some more practise

    Hi

I am still in practise mode.

This is what I have been doing.

The one with the round feather ring is not done yet.

It does not show up so well in the picture but the puffiness is very nice.

I am using up some leftover polyester batting and it is puffy

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Great work, I can't do it (for lack of practice and time).
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

Kudos for that. I think it looks great. I'm still struggling through half way decent feathers.

I don't have the patience for those back & forth lines. Yours look great. I also haven't mastered either pebbles or feathers. I've done feathers, but not on an actual quilt. They just never look quite right. You've made great progress with your practice. Now that I have my curved rulers, I need to practice with them.

It is really fun to do.
