    Good! Lets you look at things differently. Here are some free images - gorgeous - of Mandelbrot Sets. You may download them for computer wallpaper. I have some and they make me smile. You should be especially attuned to these since you live on an island and are undoubedly at the shore a lot. I will let you read about this and find out why I mention that.

    You do talk math! Yes you do. Through your quilts, which are all geometry. Guess you didn't realize you have advanced training in applied mathematics. Now you know. You are welcome, lol.

    Am I the only one who thinks you all sound like you are speaking in a foreign language?! I do not understand any of this math talk! And I never in my life heard the words scerpinski triangle. My oldest gd is in 4K, so I guess she won't be coming to Grandma for homework help!!

    Each side is divided in two each time. So if the side is 16 on the 0 triangle, it's 8, then 4, then 2.

    Yes, I like the design and want the history of the block, but did anyone figure out the answer to the original questions? With my 'new math' I think I would go with trail and error to see if the triangles would fit! Sure like the name of triangle.

    INDEED!!! Love those patterns! French General had a free one awhile back that was all triangles ! Or maybe it was Moda Bakeshop but with French General fabrics....with the Chateau Rouge pre cuts
