    Hemming Jeans

Sorry if this in the wrong category. I found a great tutorial for hemming jeans and keeping the original hem at the bottom. Even a beginner can do this.

You had also better have a hinged foot, jean-a-ma-jig, or a hump-jumper to do it.

I have the heavyweight foot for the Juki 2010 and it still had problems with a serged end.

I tried this method also. Didn't work well for me either.
All quilts cat tested and approved.

Or an old Singer 2010, which walks right up over the humps. So does my 500A.

I guess I'm just too old to be that worried about the bottom of my jeans. LOL. It just seems like a lot of hassle for too little benefit. I'll keep cutting 'em off, serging the edge, turning 'em up and stitching. I figure the day that people are looking at the hem of my jeans is the day I'm either WAY old or with the wrong people.
