Anyone want a small Sashiko embroidery kit?

I'm clearing out some items and have no idea where it came from, probably from a quilting grab bag at one of my small groups. The dark blue fabric has the pattern stamped on it in white and there is a small skein of thick white thread. PM me your home addy if you would like it.

Sorry Ellen, Colette (Sheep Farmer) get to me first. Hope she shows us what she does with it.

Better luck next time as I'm finding little treasurers as I go through my stash. No, I am not alphabetizing my stash, just cleaning it up a bit.

My Homemaker's group had a class earlier this year on Shashiko embroidery. I had no idea what this was and took the class out of curiousity. I was impressed enough to add this type of embroidery to my to-do list since I suck at regular embroidery. LOL

Craftsy also has a class on Shashiko embroidery.

There is a store here, called Shibori Dragon, that is a quilt shop. They carry a large amount of Asian fabrics and prints. They also carry lots of sashiko supplies. They do have online ordering if anybody is looking.

Have you not been to their store? We should meet there one day! And then we could go to Artco too!
