I like the fourth one down on this page, especially with the strips, i think the effect would be great.

    Thank you!

I am making a bed quilt for my self. And I thought I would make something different then what I have done before but my imagination will not cooperate.

I guess I will have to surf the web to see if there is a picture to spark my mind.

    Have a nice day/evening.

I do like your barn raising layout but then again that is one of my favorite. But with your nice light to dark combination this would look very nice in a row and furrow layout too.

Not sure what to do with them ---- what do you need (quilt, table runner, bag, etc.)? Or, what do you think will sell?

Love the scrappy-ness. One thing to consider: putting a thin sashing between the square blocks and/or a thin diagonal strip between the hypotenuse (long sides) of the triangle using some neutral, non-attention getting color so as to keep the focus on the triangles.

Wow, those are great! I love string piecing, something about the feel of the fabric on the paper and the crinkly sound is so pleasing to me (am I the only one, I might be weird). Here's a pic of my mom's WOP with HSTs, I am sure you could find a completed on on pinterest or something, she just started with the points in the middle and just swirlied it around. I think it would look spectacular with those pretty block you made! Anything will, really - can't wait to see it!

    String pieced halfsquare triangles

What to make of them ?

    Hi

I have been string piecing for a while and now I have 44 light and 44 dark half square triangles.
I have no ide what to make of them. Only thing I know is that I do not want to make a barn rising or diamond setting.

I started with a paper square 6 1/2 " and when I covered it with fabric I cut it on a diagonal to make the hst.
I do not know what size that make them. But they are fairly large.

    Any ideas ?

Here is a picture of some of them.
