    Being Angularly Challenged....

I often hear Jenny say that she is angularly challenged when she does pinwheels and other tricky piecing. Let me join the club. Sometimes I just don't see things right or my eyes go to a different part of the block. For instance, with Jenny's Spool Quilt (which I love) my eyes go to the sections between the spools rather than to the spools that are the focal point of the blocks.

All of the Disappearing Pinwheel blocks that are slashed, rearranged and sewn together mess with my brain, too. I just spent a frustrating half hour sewing a Disappearing Pinwheel Arrow block. I managed to get it together but I don't know if I want to go through that again....lol! I'm glad I practiced on scrap fabric.

I like your scrap fabric, the block looks great. I understand your challenge. I have my sister come over to show me how to do some squares if there are a lot of pieces. I don't do puzzles too well. LOL

This is funny and makes me think of something my son brought to light and will forever remain in our heads. KFC the pic of the colonel on the bucket it is just him and his tie. Look at it again it looks like his head on a stick figure. Big head tiny body.

Barb I also am angularly challenged. My cat quilt I am working on had many angles in the cat tail block. I think almost all had to be ripped at one point and fixed. Yours is very pretty. Could be a mug rug or placemat if you don't want to do more.
