What would you do? Missing part...

Okay, so I feel pretty d_mb. I'm back at our 'winter' home and the walking foot was left on my machine here. The snap foot attachment and one foot is missing. I have located replacements but my thrifty side thinks I should wait until they turn up. I have searched and searched and it is getting frustrating....
What would you do? Thanks.

When we were having our carpets replaced I forever lost my set of Creative Feet. Eventually I bought a new set.

Two years later, Creative Feet owner and inventor Clare Rowley was coming to our local Qulit Expo. The day before the Expo, something caught my eye in a large decorative vase in our front room. I reached in and Voila! It was my two-year missing Creative Feet. Did I have a fun story to tell Clare the next day!

And no, I couldn't have waited two years for a new set. I love those feet!

Well, right after I posted my original message, I just couldn't sleep so I went to look for it again. I have a bunch of tote bags full of sewing stuff I brought back from Maine and haven't had a chance to go through yet. Pulled out a container of pins and thought, could it be here? Oh yay, nestled in the middle of them. I know what my New Year's Resolution will be.
I also need to train myself to think about where I put things before and make sure I'm using a logical place.

And do check out Clare Rowley's Creative Feet. If you can only afford one, buy the Satin Edge foot. It improves your piecing accuracy like nothing else on the market!
