Stunning wool felted sculpture. The clever design and execution blew me away.

This is a NC quilt and had an explanation for each type of block and how it relates to NC, but I can't find it.
They have a portion of the gardens laid out as quilt blocks, but it was dormant this time of year.

The sheep is so cute! When we went to New Zealand we went into a wool shop and I found a sweet small hand made sheep, one of my favorite things. Beautiful quilt!

I'm glad you made it to wnc. I'm afraid I didn't even know that exhibit was there. Amazing when we live so close and are oblivious to wonderful things.

I kinda accidentally stumbled on it. We went to Biltmore and Grovepark Saturday. Then stopped on the way out of town. Almost didn't stop because it was smoky and cold. But I'm glad we did.
