I also don't do the long sashing rows. I sash each block individually, then sew all the blocks together.

I like to do this one and add the second sashing with the corner stone to each block as I go look like part of DP9 then once I have my layout I add the extra sashing to the end blocks or top blocks I hate doing long sashing rows.

Hmm. I still have some fabric I was going to make "I Spy" quilts out of. 10" squares but I can cut them. Need to do this before the grandkids get too big for "I Spy."

I just finished making one of these. I have made several. One charm pack makes a great size for a PICU quilt. These are a couple I made a while back. So fun and easy to do.

Love the striped sashing, Learner quilter!

If someone were to remake Jenny's quilt with pale blue for the sashing, it would almost look like gingham.

That was my thought as well. Super fun say.

It's a simple charm pack quilt pattern. I'd be sure to measure my charms. I always thought they measured to the edge of the pinking, not the inside. That's the way I've been sewing them together. It would bug me if the white side strip was shorter than the edge of the charm. It's so pretty in the blue & white. I wonder how it would look if the charms were bright batiks & the sashing black?
