Some things I learned this morning

My iron and my sewing machine do not work if not plugged-in.
My glasses case will not turn on the tv. It doesnt work to answer my cell phone either.
I should never again skip my second cup of morning coffee.

Better have that second cup before you put something in the fridge that doesn't go there, or something in the cupboard that goes in the fridge... for example if you used cream in that first cup... Happens to me sometimes!

I have done everything mentioned above. My coffee cup has grown from 6 ounces to 12 over the years.

I sometimes plug in the iron, but then forget to turn it on. I don't drink caffeine, so needing the coffee isn't a problem for me. I might have 1 c. of decaf in a day. Sometimes none at all. I think it's a sign we're all getting older.

I learned today, when Joann's emails you a coupon for 60% off one regular priced item, good for instore & today only, they already have a storewide sale going on and you will not find anything in the store that you want that isn't already on sale for 20% off!

Same thing goes for a crock pot full of beans. They're just never going to get done if the thing isn't plugged in! Yep, I did that.

I totally agree with the Jo Ann's coupon scam. I did just learn if your over 60 on Wednesdays Publix gives you 10% of everything even if its on sale.

I've also learned that Joanns never puts quilting notions on sale, so when I go in with my 60% off coupon for something regularly priced and find all fabric on sale, I can usually find a ruler that I need.
