So Happy! Just sent my first quilt to MSQC!

Yay! squeals!

I took me ages and a lot of life changing events (a break-up, a move, a new job) to finish my very first large quilting project, but I've just purchased the MSQC machine quilting and I'm sending out my quilt tomorrow!

It's 74.8 x 55.9 inches (huge!) when I was really aiming for a twin size in the begining and it is for my niece for Xmas!

Hopefully, since I live in France near Paris I will get it on time. I'll be sure to post a picture here as soon as I get it back before sending it on to my niece.

Bonjuor! I hope you are in a better place after your life changes. I find that no matter where I find myself on the road of life, my quilting is either right on the roadway with me, or a side street nearby. Your quilt will be treasured by your niece no matter when she gets it - hopefully you won't be sewing the binding on Christmas Eve (I speak from experience!!). Can't wait to see it.
