    Eleanor is on the Mend

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

She looks good. My dad used some of those tools after he had his hip replacement.

What a trooper! I like that sock tool. I could use one of those!

So happy to see her smiling and her usual upbeat self! She has always been one of my favorites in the quilt world.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about her fractured leg. Glad to hear she's doing so well. I used to work in rehab., so all I'm familiar with all those tools she demo'd. I almost bought a grabber for myself the other day at W-M. I think it would come in handy for reaching stuff on upper cupboard shelves. I still use a step stool for some things. DH is tall, so sometimes he reaches things for me if he's close by.
