    Enjoy!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I love the fabric Jenny used in the quilt. Thanks for posting the link.

It's really pretty! You could use a jelly roll too.

I like this quilt. I like how easy it is to make. Guess I'll have to add it to my loong list of quilts to make.

I really like this one. I even liked the chevron look before she turned the block again.

Can you use a jelly roll to make the X block? What size triangles do you add to the JR strip?

I quess you couldn't use a jelly roll. I watched it again and I must of skipped over the part where you cut down the square. Opps!

Well, I got to thinking about it and maybe you could make a strip set with the JR in the center and two backgrounds on the outside then cut a 4 1/2" square on the diagonal. It might work, maybe. I am going to have to give it a try sometime soon.

I looked at this quilt a couple times a day while at the retreat. They had it hanging in the main shop right in front of the doors as you walk in. I broke down and bought the layer cake, plus the yardage for the green border and the yardage for the backing. Figured I can pick up the white here. It is truly a gorgeous quilt and I will be making one just like the one shown.

I don't even like green, but I love succulents!!
