Secret Sister and Secret Santa ideas!!

    Hello to all,

I have decided to participate in these fun activities in our local guild. It is my first time participating and I have a general idea how it goes. I thought it might be a fun thread to share ideas: what are some of the great gifts you have gotten and what are some cool ideas for gifts? I hope we all have fun with this. Have a great week!!

I have never done one of these but I can throw some ideas out there.

Pin cushion/thread catcher. Little fabric boxes or bowls to hold clips and other small items.

Ok two. I can throw two ideas out there.

I've took part in a Christmas swap a couple of times. Here are a few suggestions: FQ's, thread catchers, mug rugs, tissue holders, small notions, ornaments, table runners, small wall hangings, templates, their favorite candy, cookies, coffee or cocoa mix.......

If you know who your Secret Sister is, hang out with them and get an idea of what they would like. What they want and need. If it is a group, just start the conversation by asking everyone to give some ideas of their wants and needs....secret desires.

I'm thinking the more practical the better. Like spools of white thread, universal sewing machine needles...maybe not wow wow gifts but, you know they will get used and your money will be well spent

Right grammaterry :-) If you know what kind of cutting tool they have some blades would be nice too. We ALWAYS need those LOL. If they embroider then embroidery needles are always good too. Quilt coloring books and a set of colored pencils can be reasonably priced too.

I guess.....lets face it....we love everything! This is what I'm like every time I get something:

love your little critter! Doesn't it make your day when you get something out of the blue? I think we could all use some surprises once in a while.
