    National Quilt Extravaganza

Is anyone going to this quilt show in Oaks, PA? It starts tomorrow, Thursday, September 15 and ends on Sunday, September 18. My sister and I are going tomorrow afternoon, but our 'bracelet' is good for the whole show. If any one is going and would like to hook up at the show or for lunch or dinner, please let me know. I'd love to meet some Forum friends. Oaks is just a 15 minute drive from my house.

If I lived a lot closer.... I would come meet you there. Have fun!

Sylvia, how I wish I could attend. It would be wonderful to meet you. I looked online at your beautiful town. So historical! I tried to find Schwenksville on the PA map, but didn't see it. My parents were born in Bradford and I spent time every summer while growing up (I lived in Buffalo NY) in Summerville and Brookville. Happy memories. I still have relatives living in PA.

And I have relatives in Cheektawaga, NY (a Buffalo suburb for those who do not know). Bradford is in the other end of our state. My mother's family came from DuBois. You may be familiar with that name.

My sister and I had a lovely lunch at an Asian restaurant, and then .... I .... went to the quilt show ... and ... bought ... 47 fat quarters!!!!!!! I am now, officially, a "shop your stash" failure. (Half of those FQs were on $1.00 each, eight were $2.25 each, and the rest were $1.85 each. - Is that enough "justification" for my purchases?)

Sylvia, I have relatives in Cheektowaga, too. In fact, I used to live in Cheektowaga.
What a FQ haul you made! And bargain prices. I see the justification
