    Looks great!

I saw and idea somewhere where the quilt maker made a pocket for a little book of hints.

What about zipper and you could sew in one to introduce the fine motor skills. I made skill quilts that included buttons to be buttoned, shoelaces, zippers, velcro, snaps, etc. Hope this helps.

In case anyone is curious what fabric I found for my quilt here's a picture of the label I just created. Still debating if I need to do away with the butterflies, a bit too busy? And maybe too wide? I don't want it to take up half the back of the quilt :-) I'll print this on iron on paper and iron on to white fabric. Got my blocks pieces, once I get the top done I'll post a picture! I needed a sewing break so I decided to create the label before I even need it.

zabaglione (an Italian dessert), Zambia (a landlocked country in central Africa), or how about using Zebra for Zebra fish or Zebra butterfly as well as Zebra horse, Zebra finch, zebra crossing, zeppelin (a dirigible airship from WWI,) zest (like lemon peel), Zeus, Zipcode, zither (a musical instrument), Zit (a pimple), ziti (pasta), zodiac , zookeeper, zootsuit, zorse (the offspring of a zebra and a horse),
Just remember, your I spy quilt will grow with the little one and there should be something that is hard to find and something that challenges him/her and will be so cute when they learn it.

If you have a embroidery machine can you
stitch several ZZZ for your block?
I'm sure you'll find something that will work.
Quilters are great at coming up with great ideas.

If you have vampires, then you will need zombies!

Look up the zombie love fabric line by Riley Blake. It is kid friendly and cute.
