Having trouble with order at MSQC

on 9/3 I ordered some yardage and my paypal account (the funding source) has been charged, yet there is no shipping status. When I sent an email it has not been answered. I just sent a second email. This is so weird for this company. So I wanted to ask her what is up and in hopes that SOMEONE at MSQC recognizes there is a problem.

    Thanks.

I ordered 8/26 and just got it yesterday. Shipping info was not real forthcoming either. I'm assuming you mean you ordered 8/31

      Pat......

Since the Golden Ticket promo started, I am sure the orders (especially if there is yardage to be cut) are very behind. I placed an order 8/21/16 and I didn't receive it until 9/2/16......

Yardage orders generally take a bit longer, and the Golden Star promotion had lots of folks ordering - someone posted a bit ago how many yards they had to cut and it was upwards of 10k as I recall. M* also sent an email to customers explaining they were backlogged & they were working round the clock to get them processed.

I agree that shipping has been a little slower lately but I'm sure it's only temporary.

And do not forget there was a Sunday and a Holiday in there, so the time frame so far is not unreasonable.

My last order was placed 8/26 and included yardage. It was ready for shipment on 9/3 and is scheduled to be delivered today, 9/9. I read on another thread that yardage orders exceeded 4,000 and they were running behind because of the Golden Ticket promotion. Missouri Star also sent a generic message to some (newsletter subscribers?) saying they were working 24/7 to catch up. I'm sure you'll hear soon about when your order ships. They always provide tracking info.

And SOMETIMES the USPS actually follows through and keeps up with it. They stayed 2 days behind for me, til the day it was delivered. They caught up that morning.

I suspect it was the weekend and holiday that may have messed things up. One of my automatic deposits which usually goes in on the 4th didn't show up in my bank account until yesterday :-(. That's the longest I've ever waited even with holidays and weekends. I know the probation office got it on the regular day because I get an automated phone call. Annoying. I ordered some fabric about three weeks ago from MSQ and it got here fine without any noticeable delay. I thought I'd have to wait with the gold tickets going but I didn't. It was yardage too.

My yardage took a long time. They were really backed up because of the yardage sale and Golden Star! I finally got it! Patience!

I cut it twice and it was still too short!

Orders are charged to us as soon as we order. Yardage always takes more time. I just place my orders and when they arrive I enjoy opening. Since I do mostly online ordering, I do not do much tracking of them. If I need something in a rush, I run up to Joanns, which is rare.

I use the tracking because my malbox is out of sight of the house, and the neighbors up the road aren't all that trustworthy. I like to know when to keep a closer eye on it.

USPS has nothing to do with it until it gets to your town. UPS Surepost is the big hold up. I sent a PM to AL regarding this with specific examples (tracking numbers) to show how incredibly slow UPS Surepost is compared to USPS. He said they were looking at the problem.

My precut order from 8/30 sat in St Louis for three days (9-3 to 9/6) at the UPS hub before it moved. Remember UPS is a Mon-Fri operation and not only does not deliver on Sat or holidays, they don't even move a piece of mail from one end of the building to the other. They are closed. It has now made three stops between STL an JAX and will get here sometime. I love M* and am not bashing them, but will no longer order anything I need in a reasonable amount of time. Other retailers get my fabric to me in 2 days by the post office. I sincerely hope they go back to USPS or at least give us a reasonable shipping option.
