God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope. -

She makes it look easy, but I think that it's an incredible amount of work (not to mention the love in her heart). What a great way to save an old quilt. -

I guess it will look better but it is still rotted and falling a part. The pattern of that quilt lends itself to patches like she is making, but how do you repair a quilt that had a set pattern like a 9 patch?Walk in peace with the Lord by your side.
