I've been using it for several years and LOVE it! Best investment for my machine ever.....

I bought the other version of that foot that only has the one removable guide. Personally I dislike those friggen guides so off it came. Quite honestly, I removed the guide from my O fit which I use instead. I find it is easier to see where I'm going.

I have not tried this foot. I use my regular 1/4" foot on my Janome and love it, so I don't think I would spring for this clear one, but I look forward to hearing from folks who have used it and what they think about it.

I have a clear foot for my Bernina, I like to use it when I
am sewing the satin stitch. It's great to see when you need
to sew around something, or turn a corner.
I also like to use it when I sew on a button.
This was a free foot when I bought my machine.
I probably would not have purchased it outright.
I have it so I use it.
I do not use it for quilting, as you said, the walking foot is used.

    Janome transparent 1/4 inch foot

Has anyone tried the transparent 1/4 inch from Janome? I purchased it yesterday and tried it ... until now I can't say this is a tool I have been waiting for and I freaked out because it's a sewing revolution. It is nice because you can see trough it and you can attach two different types of guides one for stitching in the ditch (I will never use it, because this is usually done with my walking foot) and the other one for piecing.
Has anyone tried it? Maybe I am overlooking its benefits?
Thanks xxo from good old Europe ❤️
