    30's and 40's Reproduction Fabric

Someone on here the other day was looking for 30's repro fabric, which I love also. I just saw that M* has a line called Feed Sack, which is great, also the Aunt Grace line is a bunch of different tiny repro fabrics.
I saw an episode of Sewing with Nancy this morning where she used 2.5" strips cut in short lengths, then sewed in sets of 3 for nine-patches. The shorter lengths were multiples of 2.5", so when cut, It made a beautiful very varied bunch of nine patches, which really looked old fashioned with the repro prints. I gotta do this!

Terry, you can watch episodes of Sewing with Nancy online here: http://video.wpt.org/show/sewing-nancy/
Yesterday's episode was Change Up Patchwork Part 3.

I don't get to see it very often, but I really enjoyed that episode. Her interview was with a lady associated with a program that teaches incarcerated women to quilt. The ladies make three quilts during the program: two to donate, and one to keep, or give to a loved one. What a wonderful idea! We know how empowering it is to finish a quilt. I'm so glad there are people helping ladies who are in prison learn that wonderful feeling.

I, too, saw the post the other day re: reproduction fabrics. Some of the stores on Etsy and American Jane Fabrics are two places to check for repro fabrics.
