Pin basting

I can not, for the life of me, spray baste a large quilt. It gets the better of me every time. I can however, pin baste pretty well.

Today I found out that I CREAK. Seriously, every time I moved, my knees would groan their displeasure.

When did I get so old my body makes it own creaky noises?

I can't spend much time on my knees, so I sit down to pin baste. Sometimes I sort of recline on my L. elbow. I always put 2 band aides on that elbow to prevent rug burn. I have no room for a design wall, so have never spray basted. The pins work for me.
