    Ricky Tim's seminar

I received an email about a ricky Tim's 2 day symposium in 2017. It's called quilt luminarium. Has anyone ever gone to one of his events? The dallas event is actually in Richardson may 12 & 13 2017.

    Re: Ricky Tim's seminar

For some reason I am thinking that Jean Sewing Machine might have. I know she has done one with Patrick Lose and I am thinking Ricky as well

No, not Ricky Timms, I barely know his work in quilting. I know he works with Alex Anderson. I did attend Kaffe Fassett's lecture last fall. It was very interesting. I did attend 2 of Patrick Lose's classes at the Iowa State Fair. It starts today, but I'm not sure I'll be able to attend this year.

I have been to a lecture[?] that he did at the Paducah show several years ago and really enjoyed his talk. It was about his life journey not about teaching a particular quilt.

I haven't been to one of his Symposiums but I've taken a class from him before and he is an excellent instructor.
