    Civil War reproduction fabric

Someone was asking about civil war fabric. I made a disappearing 9 patch with Alice's scrap bag charm pack. It's simple. I haven't quilt it yet!

I cut it twice and it was still too short!

I wasn't the one asking about the Civil War patterns, but I like your D9P. It turned out very nice. I have some Alice's Scrap bag fabric - I'm not sure what to do with it yet.

You're welcome! It was fun to make. I'm giving it to my niece who is a history buff!

Your quilt looks good... CW fabrics are funny... They can grow on you... I know I started out actually disliking them...too dark.... However, as I collected them, to do a hand pieced quikt gir my CW buff don-in-law, I began to appreciate their beauty... Dark? Yes...but rich in color... Very nice to work with...

Now my CW fabrics live happily beside my ever present brights...

I love your D9P with that Alice Scrapbag fabric!
I am using a bit of the Alice Scrapbag fabric in my Underground Railroad sampler.
I agree with Sandy, the Civil War fabrics do tend to grow on you.
