Question About the Sew Steady Table

For you quilters who have one of these: do you wish you had bought the largest size? Should I go ahead and buy the largest size that fits in the space I have available? (I think the largest is about 22" X 25") It's about $150.00 on Amazon. Or is the moderate size large enough?

I have the 18x 24 and really like it......but bigger might be better if you have the space.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

Mine is the 18 x 24" one, which works just great for my space. I use an ironing board to the left side of my table to spread out the quilt sandwich on. The ironing bd. adjusts to the height of the table & gives just enough extra space for my projects.

Re: Question About the Sew Steady Table

I have the quilter's wish - 22 X 25 and really like having that space for sewing and quilting. The one thing I will say, is that I found the sliding tray to be distracting and removed it. I use that in a drawer for organization, so I'm still using it

Hmm, sounds like either size is good. Thanks for your input!

Re: Question About the Sew Steady Table

I bought mine about a month ago when they had a sale. I got the smallest because that is all the fit in my space. It is fine for me. But so far I am only working on crib size or smaller. I chose the basic table w no drawer underneath- I figured it would be covered with fabric when I am working and I won't be able to see it anyway. I do enjoy the table a lot for larger projects and it came with a free carry bag, which has come in handy for taking to quilt class. I paid around $120.
