    HOLY MOLLY MACHINE ISSUES

I have a Janome 6300 was using it last week for FMQ worked fine. Turned it on this morning to do some regular work and it won't work. It turns on lights are lit but when I push foot pedal nothing happens I can even change the stitches. Anyone know what the issues it might be. Cant change back to regular the feed dogs wont go back up. Mahalo

did you check down in the bobbin area to see if threads or something is hanging up ? also look around the wheel and see if you picked up a loose thread and it wrapped itself around the wheel

I'm with baker mom, it sounds jammed. Sometimes when I wind a bobbin I forget that I did so, which disengages the needle shaft so it won't go up and down, so check your mechanism for winding bobbins and make sure it is where it is supposed to be.

Mine stopped working because the foot pedal cord came out a little.

On most machines the feed dogs will pop up when you begin to sew. Try turning the wheel toward you a few turns and see if the feed dogs come back up.

My machine has a separate cord for the foot pedal and sometimes it comes loose.

You didn't just wind a bobbin, did you?

The bobbin winder can get stuck.
