Re: Speaking of bobbins - need help to identify this one
I thought of some type of Singer bobbin as well. I haven't had my Singer for 15 years, but I remember the black lines. Do you have a sewing machine repair shop near you? I bet the repair person would know. Here are a couple of links:

Re: Speaking of bobbins - need help to identify this one
i was thinking of the touch and sew machines from Singer. I have an older Touchtronic(?) that has a similar type bobbin, too. I have the machine because DD found the cabinet at a yard sale, wanted the cabinet not the machine (so I felt sorry for it and took it home), like I needed one more sitting around

The picture looks like there is a metal post, so you could not put it on any winding mechanism. Perhaps it is for a self-winding sewing machine.
Here is a picture of one, and it is a Singer - http://www.thecolorfulworldofsewing....ce-Bobbin.htmlLast edited by SewingBuddy; July 22, 2016, 10:15 AM.

I think I found them on line

So if anyone can put these to use, PM me, I'll be more than happy to pass them on.

Looks like my Singer Touch and Sew bobbins. I'm still using my 1982 2010 model.

but the inside depth of the bobbin isn't much thinner than my regular bobbins (Singer Class 66), but the width of the bobbin is about 1/4 inch wider overall than my regular bobbins

Speaking of bobbins - need help to identify this one
In the notions I inherited from my mother, there was a container of these bobbins. They don't fit any of the machines that she possessed, so I'm hopeing someone can identify what they go to, and maybe be able to put them to use.
