    Fusible Interfacing for Silk?

Silk scarf has a thin tear.

What type (brand and/or thickness) of fusible interfacing should I use to mend? I want to see if it's on M*.

I see M* has some interfacing, but there is no descriptions on "how to use" so not sure which to get or even if M* has the one I need.

Interfacing will show up white on the silk, it doesn't fuse clear.

Yes, that should be fine, it is a small tear that I don't want to get bigger and on the back of the bottom of the scarf.

When I Googled how to repair, sites talked about the thinnest fusible interfacing possible -- but I don't know what kind nor how thin.

911F is probably about the thinnest.

If its small, I would just use fray-check on the edges, let it dry, then take a couple darning stitches with a matching silk thread.

You could use some fabric glue too. I always have a bottle of this around.
