    Quikter's Select Mats

Has anyone else ever used these mats?
I just purchased a 12"x 18" mat the other day as my similar sized Olfa mat was well on it's way to being worn out. I have only used this mat on one project and I quite like it. I love the fact that it is double sided (with a light coloured side and a dark coloured side). And it is much thicker than my other mat. Quikter's Select also has non-slip rulers as well, although I don't have one as of yet. The owner of a LQS let me try out the ruler on some fabric she was about to cut, and it didn't move at all. Has anyone else tried any of these products? What did you think of them if you did?

And I really should check for spelling mistakes in the thread title. It should be Quilter's Select!

I purchased the big mat last month. I love it. Not had a problem yet.

Anyone interested in sharing a price on these mats?

Not listed at company site; searched for dealers in my state on company site and no such mats listed on any of the dealer websites!

        Not on Amazon either.

I think these are the same mats at Red Rock Threads. I haven't tried one, but it is on my wish list.

I've not seen these mats before. I would be willing to try a small one. Thanks for the info.

They look pretty nice... I like it that they are on the thick side....

Oh... I mess up on my titles all the time... I wish there were a way to edit those titles!

The price I paid won't help any since I bought mine through a special when I went to a Floriani class.

This is the site I found though. I have the large 24x36

I thought the price was really good compared to the cost of Olfa mats. In the light mat photo you can actually see a little price tag....$22.99 and that is in Canadian Dollars. The rulers are cheaper than Olfa rulers too. I think they are coming out with a rotary cutter soon as well!

                    Re: Quikter's Select Mats

One of the things I like about this mat is that the numbers are printed in both directions. As in, on the bottom of the mat the numbers go from 1 to 36 left to right. But they also go from 1 to 36 right to left. So no matter which corner of the mat you are using for measuring you can easily see the numbers.

Looks like a mat I may have to try out...the price is good too.
