Bill NYE told us why it is gone. It had something to do with security on the website. Mere mortals won't be able to figure out how those two things go together, but if he says it had to go, then I believe him. He said he would be working on bringing it back, but it might take a while. I want my site SECURE and I can type LIKE!

I don't miss it. I didn't like it really. I noticed and missed the lack of personal communication on the threads. A thread may have 20 likes but only a few comments. I missed the comments, I like talking to people.

It's too easy to hit "like" and move on. Leaving the OP hanging for real input. "Like" is not personal. Ya Know?

I like "LIKE," but I agree that personal comments are so lovely to read!

I used the button to let the person know that I read what a person thanked me for, etc. Other wise it could go back and forth forever.

I love the like button. I totally understand why it went away (now that's it's been explained about the security issue) but will be happy upon its return.
