    Long time project

    Hi

This is my long time project.

It is string piecing HST´s and I think it might work.

It is a long time project for I need to work up more variation in my fabrics and I am still on fabric buying diet.

It reminds me of Bonnie Hunters split 9 patch challenge. But instead of using squares to make a dark and light split square I am using strings.

    What you think ?

The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

looks great to me. I really need to do that I brought way to much material with me when I moved up here. And of course there are so many guilt shops around here. The only LQS was JoAnns. saying that very loosely. I need to make a bunch of scrap quilts and donate them.

                    Thank you all!

I like scrappy string piecing because you do not need to be so precise as in regular piecing.
Great for those days when you just want to sew but not measure and think to hard.

                    Have a great weekend!
