    Not usually this lucky...

There was a glitch in Craftsy web site last week. I was able to get this kit of 12.5 yards of fabric for $8.77! They have since changed it to the $87 it should have been. I feel a little guilty...

You should feel more guilty now, because it's $94. lol. I 've had some guilty luck too. It's beautiful!

Wow - I really don't understand their pricing model. They are just all over the place, lol.

Just be thankful you don't have to buy it from Canada....it is $124 here!

Guilt begone! Evidently Craftsy is an ethical company that will stand by what is on their site, even when the mistake causes them to lose money on some purchases.

Love the pattern, don't want a kit though.

Cindy - No guilt should be involved - you didn't make the pricing mistake. You were just on the right site at the right time. Errors are made all the time ... glad you were able to take advantage of it.

Yes, reputable companies stand behind their advertised prices. In fact one store had a policy that it you paid more than the advertised price they would refund what you paid and give you the item free. To this day the clock radio I got under that policy is working just fine.

We got a TV the same way. Our son in law picked it up for us on base at the PX and they honor the deal that if it is cheaper elsewhere, they refund the difference. We found the same TV on sale online thru Best Buy and got almost $200 back!

Then there is the gal at Joanns. When you buy a sealed bolt of interfacing, she charges you the price for one yard, as the bolt is marked because that is how she always does it and is not going to change now! I found out on accident when she rang me up one day and I tried correcting her 2x but she would not listen and I was not going to argue with her!!

I wasn't looking for a kit either, but who can resist 70 cents/yard?

Nothing wrong with being the lucky one. Enjoy. I love the pattern. Have plenty of fabric to make. Is the pattern sold separate somewhere. I will have a look around.

My DH occasionally buys ammo at a local farm store, where they have the price of a box affixed to the case of 12 boxes. He has tried several times when purchasing, to convince the cashiers that the price refers to a box, not the case of 12 boxes. To no avail. Oh well!

ME, especially when I don't particularly care for the colors.
