    Mystery solved

I had received a box in the mail from MO* last Friday and I knew I hadn't placed an order. I had posted on here then, but no one could help me solve my mystery. I just got off the phone with customer service and yes, it is mine and I can cut and piece the gorgeous fabric within. They have recently been sending out these boxes as a kind of reminder or enticement to people who haven't ordered in more than a year. Since I live within an hour, I generally purchase in store. I have been super busy this past year and have been trying to piece my stash, when I have had any time to sew or quilt at all.

Missouri Star is considering selling boxes similar to these as a subscription box.....kind of like a quilty box.......but it is not quite up and running yet. I was given permission to share, but we will all have to wait till this offer is made by them. I have some questions posted and when I get those answers, I will keep you posted.

I will try and post a pic of the box and contents. I guess we all have something to anticipate and we will all have to be a little patient! Thanks, Missouri Star for the love box! I promise, I hadn't forgotten about you!

So If we wait a year to buy something, we may get a surprise package also? Don't see it in my future!

              I don't think I can wait a year without buying M*.

I can barely go a week.

I am not sure that everyone that doesn't buy in a year's time is eligible. She said I was selected from those that hadn't bought in a year online. I just received another email and there haven't made definite plans in content nor cost of these boxes for future sales. Guess we will all know when they post the offer.

Now to decide what to do with 5 different squares x 5 different lines. Hmmmm......the intrigue continues.....what fun!

And yes, I do feel lucky. Not only did I get this surprise in the mail, I was able to go shopping at MO* and I won a jelly roll! Trust me, I am generally not that lucky. Now my hubby is NOT today........just had a combine fire!

I would never have thought of that. I'm glad you were able to get to the bottom of it. What a fun surprise. I don't think I would ever be eligible for that one.

Some of the gals in our library quilt group made big tote bags for their 18x24 cutting mats, rulers, and ironing pads. That might be enough charms to make the outside!

That would be so cool of MSQC started doing something like that! Fat Quarter Shop does one and there is another one called Quilty Box that I saw....looks like a lot of fun!

Glad that problem is solved. I know last year Al was talking about some kind of 'quilty box' idea they were working on...one of those things that isn't on the top of the priority list..but is being considered. BTW...Mackenzie has already started sewing her jelly roll. Will post pic soon.
