A great idea for marking a quilt without actually marking it! (LongArm)

Award-winning Gammill quilting artist, Linda Thielfoldt, uses painter's tape to help you mark your quilts.

This is a great idea which I plan on using real soon. I don't think it would work too well on a regular sewing machine since you scrunch up the quilt when quilting.

In case you can't watch the video, she shows how to use painter's tape. You mark lines on it such as 1 inch or 2 inch intervals so you can easily space out your quilting.

I just had to share this with my forum friends!

Really nice. I can't wait for my new Bailey's Home Quilter to arrive so I can try this.

I've been using painters tape for years.
Great for white fabrics that you don't plan on washing before using, like curtains, and especial when you don't have 24-48 hours to wait to see if the disapearing marker will indeed disappear before you use it on your fabric.
