    Best Triangle Ruler

Searched in forum posts, but didn't find anything from this past year.

Is there ONE best triangle ruler?

I don't like having a specialized tool for each and every thing; I like multi-functional tools. Therefore, hoping to find the best triangle ruler to cut various triangles.

I know Bonnie Hunter is coming out with a new ruler, but don't know what it will yet do.

    Thanks for any info.
    Blessings, DramaMama

I have two, don't know how that happens. lol Fon's and Porter 60 degree, it's 6 1/2''. Then a Marti Michell 6''. The second one is way off the measurement, it comes up short. So don't look into that one.

I have a Creative Grids 60 degree triangle ruler, but there are different degree triangles out there. It really depends on what you are wanting to do with them as they aren't all interchangeable. For other degree triangle I use the lines on my straight rulers.

I have two triangle rulers and haven't used them yet. I do use the 45 and 60 degree lines on my regular rulers a lot though. I wouldn't buy a triangle ruler.

              Re: Best Triangle Ruler

I have a 45 degree triangle ruler and a 60 degree. Needed for 2 different patterns. Use them occassionaly aside from what they were bought for. As Karen said there are different degree rulers for different patterns and they definitely are not interchangeable.

I'm not sure if a 60 degree triangle is what you want or not but if so I highly recommend Jaybird Quilts rulers. I sound like a broken record on this subject but the ruler are so well designed. The Hex and More ruler can be used to make 60 degree triangles, hexagons, jalf hex and a jewel shape. The Sidekick ruler can be used for triangles, half triangles and diamond shape. I just think they are very versatile rulers and worth the cost.

I'm all for the Sidekick ruler too. I have the Super Sidekick, it's absolutely indespensible. Jaybbird's rulers are the only non Creative Grids rulers I own (and actually use).
