Are these easy to get off a painted wall?

Yes they are. Are you talking about the hooks? I love them!

Wish I could say I love them - some I've removed quite easily and others actually took off paint and a layer of paper from sheetrock. I'd say it depends upon who put them on, and how long they had been there.

I have a couple on the walls and they won't come off unless I pry them off. I'm going to have to borrow my dd's hair dryer to get it off. Don't leave them on over a year.

Agreeing with Sandy and Lorie, sometimes they come off easy and sometimes they take part of the wall with them. The guy that did our painting hates the things. He said it is better to put a nail in the wall than to deal with trying to repair the mess that they can make.

I've used them for years. Most come off well. I've noticed you have to pull it straight down the wall to remove it completely. I've had a few mess up the wall. I also use them on my front door window to "tie" my weath to the door.

Anytime I've used them on flat paint they have ripped the sheetrock off. I have a semigloss paint in my sewing room and command hooks won't stick at all.

At least you all got them on. I can't put the dang things on the wall. Finally gave up and used picture hangers.
