I made this quilt for my husband when I knew we not had a few months left.... He took it everywhere .... Hospital, hospice,.. And bavk home on that last day.... He wanted to be home, with me...

I dorot under that quikt test first night alone, and we lad it over his casket,,in lieu of flowers. Them it served as the funeral pull...

It gets used a lot... My little fits and I love to cuddle under it..in our fav chair...

I love your color choices in this quilt and I can't say it enough but I love the double slice pattern. I am so glad that you still use something that your husband treasured. Bless You.

I see that little guy peeking his nose out. What a beautiful quilt and the story that goes with it!

I guess some would put such a treasured quilt up "fir safe keeping,,, but my little guys and I use it all the time... I slept unde it that very first night without Earl, and it so he gets the credit for choosing such a beautiful line.. I

Not too long ago, I made a Febce Rail quilt from jelly rolls of Swirls... This time it was a comfort quilt for my BIL, who is exiting for a liver transplant... Rick and my Earl were as close as brothers...
