G'day Guys got a question for my mum she would like to know how much it costs to ship the "easy cut circle ruler " to australia.....ooh and also do we need to buy a specific rotary cutter for it or does the ruler come with a cutter. We thought we would order one and spilt the costs............thanks

Lisa these are the two items you need, they are from the MSQC store, and my memory says priority paid shipping was $40.

If it fits in a flat rate envelope, you can email Sarah after you order and she'll refund your shipping to the $15 for the flat rate. She tries to catch most of those. And she is making me build the flat rate shipping option for our international customers into the site again. And what Sarah wants.... Sarah gets :P

Hmmm i ordered the Dresdon Template from MSQC and paid $30 shipping. I thought this a huge amount but was comforted by what i could do with it. Dont feel so comforted now.

heh, daisy you just messaged me too. As I said there, we try to proactively refund orders (without you asking) that we can ship in cheaper methods, but we don't catch all of them. If you feel like your order will go in a flat rate, just send sarah an email (info [at] missouriquiltco.com ) and ask her, she'll tell you if it will fit and refund you the difference. Things like dresdens, binding tools, tumblers, all are small. You can even fit the ruler and maybe 4 charm packs or a yard or two of fabric in a flat rate envelope. We had it on the site before as a shipping option, but people abused the option and we had to remove it, now I'm building in the dimension calculations to suggest better shipping methods (who loves math?) and will have something on there soon!

My order hasn't arrived here yet so I don't know if Sarah noticed it and changed anything but the price I was quoted on the automatic system was the $40, I guess I wait and see if Miss Sarah caught mine. In future I will sent a note via email when ordering.

Bill perhaps a comments section on the auto order page may be helpful. Then people can do things like say 'if you don't have abc please substitute with xyz'.
