Good thing our camp is on posts!

Friday night as we arrived at our camp it was raining so hard (small hail too) that you got drenched in the few seconds it took to run through the puddles from the car to the door. After about 20minues of rain everything was flooding. If our camp hadn't been on posts we'd have had some serious damage; instead just some minor washouts and seriously soggy lawn and gardens. Hope my flowers are okay. You can see the tips of my hostas poking out of the water. It was about 6-8 inches deep there. Sorry for the quality; one picture was taken through the window and you can see the screen and the reflection of the flash. The rest were outside when the downpour was over.

I got a sewing machine for my husband. Good trade, huh!?!

it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.

My goodness! Glad your camp is elevated!

Holey, moley! I know it rained hard on our trip home from PA....in fact we stayed in CT as we couldn't see to drive! It is a good thing your camp is on posts. Do you think there was damage that will be unfixable?
