I got my new sewing machine last night

I spend 2 1/2 hours at my quilt shop with my quilt lady Kathy who showed me all the how to's and where fors of my new Bernina Aurora 400 QE. I love my new baby. It is the single most expensive thing I have ever bought for myself except my car. I saved hard for it and I am so proud of myself. Normally I would put something like this on credit, but I have now shunned credit and am a cash only girl. It took some serious self discipline!

Today I will head down and get some batting for the quilt top I finished last weekend and free motion quilt it.

I am so happpeeeeeeeee!

Thanks guys! Yup, she has a name. It's Beatrice or Bea for short. I've spent lots of quality time with her in the last few days. She's so quiet. I luf her.
