    So excited

I am so excited....my comic boards arrived today. I've spent the morning around watching my DGS, Jackson, tidying up my stash by wrapping those fabric boards, and making a quick run to Joann's for more fabric to wrap. Ok OK I'm new to this and my stash is a tad small - just trying to build it up a little!!! I'll be taking some pics when I'm done.......

Of course Jackson thinks Grammy is crazy.....none of the above looks like fun to a 10 year old boy - LOL

Yey! I was excited too. My dd came in from another island and noticed it right away. She said you have so much fabric. It was always there but now that it's a store it looks like more. lol

only thing I wish I did was measure it first

As you can see Tracy, my stash is very tiny....but it's growing by leaps and bounds!!!

And that little bit of fabric took me two days to fold on comic boards.....I'm so glad I didn't let it get much bigger before tackling the job.

Looks great! It took me longer than I thought it would - I didn't think I had very much fabric over 3/4 of a yard (which was my cutoff for putting on a board).... I just had to order another set of 100 boards......I still have more folding to do. In my defense, I wasn't thinking about all of the flannel or duck cloth that I have.....but love how I can easily pick out fabrics to go together.

I just got my third pack of 100 comic book boards! My cut off was one yard. There is a lot I won't wrap, simply because it takes up a lot of space and right now it's sitting neatly in boxes in my closet, like flannel, corduroy, knits (ugh, I will NEVER use them!) and some velvet. Also panels....Easter and Christmas. I have a mammoth pile of those.

I just really like having my fabric out where I can see it. And yes, it's easier to see what you want to use.

Thanks Cyndi- I did have a lot of fun with it. And I'm sure if you look closely you'll see some of the lovely fabrics you sent me to start my stash with.

Hope all is well with you girlfriend!!
