    Re: The BLOCK

I thought I was the only one who had this problem. I ordered in Feb as well and did get an answer to email. From what I was told it should be here this week. We'll see. I have been so happy with everything I've received from M*QC. Hope this is a small glitch of a new product!

If they billed you on 2/26 that should be for the first issue. They must have run one more address group a couple days later than I knew about. Right now they are still swamped in emails and are working to get through them and get to everyone. The magazine cause a lot more email than they expected and they have added night crews to help with getting them answered. They will get to you eventually, but if you wanted to try calling the store to talk to someone, that might get you through a bit faster. They are pretty busy there as well, but sometimes you can get lucky and get a live voice.

After hearing of all the delays, I decided to purchase the digital version. Got it right away and it's not taking up what little space that I have AND I can just print off whatever pattern I want. I get several quilting magazines and usually there are only one or two quilts per magazine that I like, anyway...sometimes none. So digital works really well for me.

They ship for free from the publisher, not from the store.

I'd be surprised to get free shipping for a quality magazine after its initial run. Someone is having to pull it, package it and mail it (and not bulk rate which the subscriptions are being shipped as).
I ordered the magazine from the store last Friday and added a little something to my order to make it worth it to me.

I finally received a reply to my numerous emails that informed me I missed the billing cut-off date and my subscription would begin with the April issue. If I wanted the March issue, I would need to purchase it from the website. Doesn't make much sense. I subscribed in February. They have my billing number. So charge my card and start my subscription. Doesn't sound that hard to me! There was nothing at all that stated on the online subscription I filled out that after such-and-such a date my first issue would be in April. FRUSTRATING. But at least I finally got an answer! So ... I placed the order as instructed only to find out upon check-out that I had to pay additional shipping! Don't most magazines include shipping in the price????

I ordered mine around the 25th of Feb. and waited for it to come and then started to see what people where saying about when they shipped and stuff, I happened to look at my account and noticed that I wasn't billed, so Wednesday I bought it from their store and it was here Friday. Not that you want to hear that I got mine.. I love it though.

Its not going to be in any store except M* for now. Not at JoAnn or Grocery stores that I have heard. If you persist and get ahold of Al, I'm sure if you were slated to get the first copy, then they will replace it for you. I think perhaps your mail man put it in the wrong box and who ever got it, liked it and kept it.

I doubt the mistake is at the shop, but I am sure they will fix it for you. But, they do have them at the M* shop, I saw them when I was there last week.

If I am not mistaken, I think if you ordered at that time that you will not be receiving the first issue. You are waiting for the second issue.
