    Ideas please

just put together these HST's. Still need to trim them. Will probably end up about 2" or 2 1/4" unfinished.
I have a box that sits on the floor beside my machine and I throw all usable scraps in it while trimming and working on a pattern. Found all these corners in the box from my maple leaf log cabin quilt while cleaning up the sewing room today. These are the corners cut off when snowballing a corner. There are 165 of them. Could probably come up with a few more if need to. I need ideas for what to do with them.

I'll probably have to mix them with solid squares to make anything of size. I like that pattern. Wonder how I can mix other things in. HUMMMMM

You can make stars with them
          Carpenters wheel maybe

You can pice them with other things to make secondary patterns.

You can make pinwheels and you can make diamonds

You figure it out when the time is right!

Good luck and have lots of fun!

A member here made this one and I saved it because I have a stack too. It was going to be a chevron but I changed my mind.

HST's are sooo versatile - I would just start laying them out and play with them before you settle on any one pattern - so many options! Those colors are beautiful BTW
