    Never admit defeat!

    Nope! Not gonna do it....

I dug out my prized Collections for a Cause Jelly roll...the first one I ever bought...., and yes... I'm going for it... Another JRR quilt... But this time I want to do the JRR 2 quilt..

I can't decide which color to use for the little blocks....a rich brown, black, or white... Any suggestions?

I think the black might be the better choice. White is so stark in comparison and the brown might blend too well.

I would use black. I don't think those fabrics would look good with white. IMO

If you don't have a cream like the one in the JR.... Then Black I guess.

                    Re: Never admit defeat!

Thanks, guys... I knew the white wouldn't work.... Too stark against the muted colors in the strips...

I really love the warm brown....it's such a CW color.....but I am wondering if there would be enough contrast...my first thought was to use black, because I use so much if it.... Then I saw the brown... I have lots of different dark brown fabrics... From lovely paisleys to plain brown...

I'll have to sleep on it....

That's the spirit!! Now that you know what to watch for, this one will be a snap.
I think a brown or dark cream would look good.

How about this cream... . I put the brown next go it, with a few strips.

What did I say I was going to do if someone asked about color choices? That's right... Orange!!

                          Sorry, couldn't resist.

                          I'd go with the black.

I liked the cream...otherwise black, the brown will blend too much...you could always go for either the blue or grey also...just an idea...
