What would you do with these?

I bought these gorgeous large prints at least ten years ago.....and have been reluctant to cut into them.... You can't get them anymore. I love the deep, rich colors.

    Any ideas?

    Oops! Here it is...

Sandy, can you post a pic? Depending on how big the print is, you could do a larger version of the D9P - I think Eleanor Burns did one recently, but don't remember what she called her version. Put the large prints in the 4 spots that don't get cut up with coordinating in the parts that do get cut - I would do a pop color in the middle one that gets cut into the "cornerstones".

Nancy Zieman also recently did some big block patterns: Nancy Zieman/Sewing With Nancy/Debbie Bowles/Big Quilts | Nancy Zieman Blog - I really like this one!

I saw EB's version, and loved it.... I believe she used ten inch squares... Will go watch Nancy 's video... She usually has something good.

I would fussy-cut them into large blocks, and just sash them with black JR strips. They are beautiful!

I would be tempted to wrap canvas with them and display them as art in my sewing room!

I was thinking the nine patch pizzazz too. Or the piece of cake which leaves the squares pretty big. It's beautiful!

Amy Gibsons Craftsy class on Irish Chains does a version so you can showcase 12inch blocks. They would look great in the design

They really are beautiful... That's why I haven't used them... Too afraid I'd choose the wrong pattern.... I thunk the simpler the design, the better... Your idea of thin black sashing might work... I want the fabrics to be the main attraction... I've kept them hidden away, so they wouldn't fade.... They look just like they did the day I bought them....

What if I made a Falling Charms...using large patched, sashed in black?.... I like the large DNP, too.... The simple sashed designed blocks would look great, too... So many choices!

They really are gorgeous :-) I dunno, maybe a D4P, made with blocks large enough to showcase the fabric?
