Has anyone ever used this or anything similar and does it work. After sitting at my machine for awhile my back just kills me from hunching over .

Probably something I would not be able to find when "needed". I just do the exaggerated, "no, yes and I don't know" motions with my head and neck to loosen up.

Hmm, if you are "hunching over" while sitting at your machine the money might be better spent on an adjustable chair, so that you can set it to the correct level where you don't have to hunch.

I have an adjustable chair, just after sewing for hours I tend to slouch and hunch over my machine.

I saw a tip that you could use a backpack with a heavy book. Might be worth a try if you have a backpack.

The ladies at my LQS talked about this, they like it a lot. One lady does quilting for hire, she finds it really helps her.

I was at a quilt retreat last month and tree of the ladies had these. A couple of other ladies was asking questions about it, and they highly recommended it. The two other ladies got online and ordered it after they tried one of them. I was thinking about getting on, so it is on my wish list now.

I think it is time for a new chair. I too was having a lot of back and shoulder problems after sewing for long stretches. I had an office chair that I was sewing on. In October I purchased a sewing chair on line at sew n vac and I no longer have ANY pain when I sew.

My colleague at work has something like that, recommended by her doctor. She has it attached to her chair and she swears by it. She has issues with her back and with her hips and she says it helps her a lot.

Thank you for all your great input. I seen this last year for $44 and didn't want to spend that money now I see it is $29.00 with free shipping, You guys have made me decide to get one. I think it will be great, just wanted to know if anyone had or knew someone who used one. Thank you all!
