Looking for patterns to buy. I have been looking online and doing Google searches under all of the different wording I can possibly think of. For the life of me, I cannot find what I am looking for. I will try to post a pic of what I am looking for. I just love these towels that I bought and want to make my own.

Wahoo!! I actually got the pic to show!! Always have a terrible time and usually doesn't work. Anyway, if anyone knows where I can buy patterns similar to these, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you !!!A fat quarter is NOT a body part!! :D

If you own those towels, why don't you trace the pattern on some paper and make it from that. If you just have the pictures, I don't know if printing them out would help. May not be the right size.Joyce "She who dies with the most fabric wins!!"

Re: Applique patterns: Looking for snowman and rustic winter patterns
I have done applique work from doing a web search and printing out the image and turning that into an applique. For example this cute mug rug was done like that.sewing things 006.jpgsigpic:icon_hug: Iris Girl = April = fabric, Fabric FABRIC!!

Since you own them, I would do as suggested and either copy them on your printer or try to trace the pattern. You can also get ideas from coloring books as well.pat.

You can use a copy machine to reduce or enlarge the size of any picture that you find and turn it into an appliqué pattern. Don't limit yourself to using only appliqué patterns that you can purchase. I have seen previous posts where people suggested using coloring book pages, too.Dawn

"Dressed to Chill" by Jan Kornfeind has some cute snowmen in it. It might be just what you're looking for.Cyndi

Re: Applique patterns: Looking for snowman and rustic winter patterns
I have the pattern for the one of the left (with buttons). It is from a place called "The Wooden Bear" located in Iowa. Have seen it is several quilt shops, also. I make a lot of those for our church bazaar. Don't know about the other one. Hope you find it.
