    how do I tag it.

I made a quilt for someone several months ago but it seems I have no way of getting it to him. He hasn't made contact with my son(his foster father) for several months. He never new about the quilt and with out contact at all with him, after talking with my son, I have decided to donate the quilt to help raise funds for the young man hurt I. The power take off accident. All that to ask, how do you label a quilt given for action? Or do you not label it at all?

Ditto - you should label it and putting what Sherri has above is perfect.

I don't generally tag any of my quilts. I figure that the recipient already knows who made it and no one else will really care who made it or when. I know this goes against the grain of what many here prefer but it is just how how I roll.
Loosely based on a true story.

Thanks, I will do as Sherri recommends.
Ryan, I have a couple of old quilts that I really wish I knew a bit more history on. It want to tag it, just was sure how much to put on the tag.
